Key Lime Pie
4 egg yolks
14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
2/3 c. lime juice
green food coloring
9 oz. prepared pie shell
3 T. sugar
1 c. whipping cream
Beat yolks with milk to blend. Add lime juice and beat until smooth. Stir in enough food coloring to tint light green then pour into pie shell. Chill at least 12 hours. Using a chilled bowl, beat cream and sugar together until thick and fluffy. Spread over pie, making sure it touches shell all around. Chill well before serving.
