Deep Dish Spinach Pizza
1-16 oz. loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
2-10 oz. packages of frozen chopped spinach
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 T. butter
1 beaten egg
1-15 oz. carton ricotta cheese
2/3 c. grated parmesan
1-8 oz. jar pizza sauce
1/2 c. shredded mozarella cheese
Let dough rise according to package directions; punch down. Grease a 13"x9" baking pan. Roll dough into a 14"x10" rectangle and pat into pan going up 1" on sides. Prick bottom and sides of dough with a fork. Bake at 425F about 10 minutes and cool. Cook spinach and drain well. Saute onion in butter. Combine egg, cheeses, spinach and onion and spread into crust. Pour pizza sauce over all. Sprinkle mozarella over top and bake at 375F 15-20 minutes.
